Eisenberg Original Crystal Butterfly Brooch

Offering an Eisenberg Original butterfly brooch. It is adorned with teardrops, navettes, emerald cut, and small chaton cuts. The setting is very heavy silver-tone metal that is signed Eisenberg Original that is faded but still legible. Brooch weighs 57 grams, measures 3-1/4." 

During the early years the back were rhodium plated and the crystals are Swarovski.

This was in Collectors Weekly 11/26/2010 an interview with Karl Eisenberg.

“We always stamped our merchandise. The mark was ‘Eisenberg Originals’ from 1935 to about 1945. Then from around ’42 to ’45, we used the letter E in block letters. From 1945 to 1950, ‘Eisenberg Ice’ was capitalized in block letters, and it’s been in script from 1970 until now. But pieces marked ‘Eisenberg Originals’, if you can find them, are probably the ones that are most valuable.
