Mourning Jewelry 9K Gold Victorian Hair Ring

Offering a 9k gold Victorian mourning ring with "H & R" initials engraved and hair woven around the band of the ring. Ring is marked with a few different symbols including: W&M, 9; 375, symbol of an arrow, and P. Ring weighs 1.83 grams and is a size 7-1/2.

This piece is one of many from a private collector that decided to sell after 50+ years of collecting Victorian Mourning Jewelry. She has no family and was afraid that someone wouldn’t know what the collection was and throw it away. She and her husband traveled to England every year to add to the collection.
