18K Gold Arte Orfebre Peruvian Bracelet

Offering a very special 18K gold bracelet from Peru by ARTE ORFEBRE depicting a Pre-Columbian Motif circa 1950's. This absolutely stunning bracelet features an intricate pierced design depicting traditional Peruvian scenes of Quechuan men with Llamas. The bracelet is composed of ten (10) 1/2" domed spheres in 18kt yellow gold with a flat backs depicting Pre-Columbian birds. These round frames are each hinged to the next. Each frame contains a three dimensional Peruvian scene complete with traditionally dressed herders, workers, llamas and stylized sun and birds. Rich and varied textures and open work make the scenes come alive. This piece is equipped with a tongue style clasp, safety snap as well as a safety chain for added security. The back is marked ORFEBRE, IND, PERU, REG 7789, 18k. The bracelet is approximately 6-3/4", has been tested as 18kt and weighs 42.84gms.
