ANTONIO PINEDA MODERNIST STERLING AMETHYST BRACELET TAXCO

There is sculpture and there is jewelry....Offering now is this sterling and amethyst bracelet by the master silversmith Antonio Pineda. This large bracelet showcases his sleek modernist design and use of an amethyst set in the clasp. It has been loved and worn for years and shows the wear one would expect leaving it with a soft patina of minute scratches and tiny dings. Please note…we had listed this a year ago. Since then we had our whiz of a jeweler repaired the clasp and removed a fitting that held a safety chain that was not original to the piece. Please see the images for more detail.

Overall it is a wonderful statement piece by a master silversmith.

Made in the 1950s it has the Antonio in the crown mark with 970 and ZZ750. It measures 2 3/4" across and weighs 85.6 grams, inside circumference is 6-1/4".
